Artist, THQ\Volition, Inc., Champaign, IL, October 2005 – January 2011

  • Created interiors and exteriors of fully destructible structures, often without concepts
  • Created highly efficient assets within the tight constraints of the game engine
  • Worked closely with Designers, Tech Artists, and Programmers
  • Took ownership (with designer) of full district (Eos) on RFG, which included optimizations of outsourced assets and close regard for memory limit and technical constraints
  • Helped set the quality bar on Red Faction: Armageddon with solid texturing skill and was asked to create several instructional videos on my methods to mentor other artists
